Genealogy research booking request
The House of Emigrants is open for genealogical research. Bookings are made via the Booking Request Form. You are welcome to use the databases free of charge. For assisted research we charge a fee.

Costs
Independent research in the Swedish Emigrant Institute’s archive and library is free of charge.
In-person assistance with genealogical research from our staff costs 300 SEK for up to two hours, and 600 SEK for more than two hours.
Printed copies cost 2 SEK each.

At The House of Emigrants payment by card is accepted.
