I am Marina Kereklidou
- 26/10 2024–20/4 2025
- Smålands museum
When Marina made her debut in the 1990s, she quickly became one of the key figures in what would later be known as “the Swedish fashion miracle.” A new generation of designers, photographers, and stylists emerged, making their mark both locally and internationally. Marina was one of the leading creators who helped shape Swedish fashion during a time when the country transformed from a quiet corner of the world into a recognized fashion nation.
Over the past three decades, Marina has lived many fashion lives. First, as a designer under her own name, then as a top stylist. Later, she became the head designer at Busnel and creative director at Synsam. This exhibition tells her story, from her childhood to reaching the heights of the fashion world.
Marina Kereklidou (born in 1970) studied at Beckmans College of Design from 1991 to 1994. She grew up in Alvesta but later moved to Stockholm. The exhibition “I am Marina Kereklidou” opens at Småland’s Museum on Saturday, October 26, and will be on display until April 2025.
The exhibition is produced by the Rian Design Museum.
