On public holidays that occur on weekdays we are open 11.00am-4.00pm. We are always closed on mondays.

Midsummers Eve, Midsummers Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, 23rd-26th of December, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day.

Admission

Adults 150 SEK
Students 75 SEK
Free admission for children and youth up to 19 years old

Groups of 10+ people 75 SEK per person.

The entrance fee grants admission to Småland’s Museum, the Swedish Glass Museum and the House of Emigrants.

Annual Pass
The annual pass costs 350 SEK and grants free admission to Smålands Museum and the House of Emigrants for one year from the date of purchase. It does not apply to events organized by external arrangers or when ticket reservations are required.

The Research Room at The House of Emigrants

The Research Room at The House of Emigrants is open for booked visitors tuesdays-fridays, 10.00am to 4.00pm.

The Steamboat Thor

The steamboat Thor operates on lake Helgasjön between May and August every year. We offer Helgasjö tours and lock tours. The steam boat can also be booked for private parties.

Tickets for the tours are bought via the Kulturparken Småland ticket kiosk

Tickets can also be pre-purchased at Småland’s museum during regular opening hours.

The steam boat Thor departs from Kronoberg castle ruins, which are located about 8 km north of central Växjö in Sweden.
