Research room opening hours

The research room is open for booked visits. To make sure there is an opportunity to do research, book your visit in the form below. Our staff can assist you in your research.

June – August Open for booked visits Monday-Friday 10:00 am–4:00 pm (closed 18th of July—7th of August)
September – May – Open for booked visits Tuesday–Friday 10:00 am–4:00 pm

Costs

There is no charge for the use of the databases without assistance. With assistance from the staff the charges are:

Genealogical research

For a genealogical question regarding an emigrant send an E-mail to migrationresearch@kulturparkensmaland.se and we´ll get back to you. N.B. Each inquiry answered costs 400 SEK (~$50).
