By bus and train
To Växjö travel centre. The House of Emigrants is adjacent to Småland’s Museum/the Swedish Glass Museum and is located on the other side of the bridge from Växjö travel centre.

From Växjö travel centre, walk south over the bridge towards the hospital, then turn left and go either through Småland’s Museum/the Swedish Glass Museum or around the building and through the museum park.

By car

There are parking spaces at the House of Emigrants. We recommend that you park there or in the car park adjacent to the hospital, which is next to the museum.

For people with special parking permits, there is a parking space directly by the museum entrance.

Useful information for when you get hungry

At the House of Emigrants there is a Lebanese café called
